About me
Trischa Duke is Lead Instructional Development Specialist for UIC's College of Business online programs, where she designs and develops undergraduate- and graduate-level asynchronous courses and programs, serves as Accessibility Liaison for the College of Business, and is currently leading the College's LMS migration to Canvas and digital accessibility initiatives. Trischa’s areas of specialization include inclusive and accessible design, digital accessibility (CPACC certified), and faculty development. She has 30+ years of teaching experience in various contexts, including secondary English, first-year composition, and intensive English and academic English for postsecondary and adult learners.
Trischa's current doctoral coursework in Learning Design and Leadership at UIUC centers around the implementation of Universal Design for Learning principles in in-person and online learning environments. Her thesis explores the role of the instructional designer as a change agent in postsecondary teaching and learning contexts via AI-mediated Universal Design for Learning.
